At the Holland Alumni conference Nuffic launched the first version of the virtual Holland Alumni network.

On 5 and 6 November 2009 the Nuffic Holland Alumni conference took place at the Bel Air Hotel in The Hague. This two-day conference was a unique event where a selected group of Holland Alumni from seven different areas of expertise shared insights on current topics in their field of knowledge.
Through this alumni conference Nuffic wanted to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between Holland Alumni worldwide, contribute to the formation of alumni networks in different areas of expertise and strengthen the relationships between international alumni and their Dutch higher education institutions.
